Movement has always been my go-to pathway to taking care of myself and staying grounded.

Always being interested in the human mind and body, and feeling an innate need to search for answers as to why we are how we are, Annie sought and received a BA in Psychology from the University of MN in 2008.  Along with 20+ years of managing her own injuries and participating in physical therapy as a patient, she received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Columbia University in 2013.  Annie has 15 years of traditional physical therapy training and experience, including extensive manual therapy coursework through IPA, pelvic health education through Herman and Wallace, and training in visceral mobilization from the Barral Institute. In 2023 she became a Board-Certified Women’s Health Specialist through the American Physical Therapy Association.

Wanting to become a more well-rounded therapist to assist her patients with pelvic conditions, in 2023, she became a Certified Holistic Sex Educator from Institute for Sex Education and Enlightenment. She is a yoga guide and longtime yoga practitioner.  Annie has trained in breathwork both as a client and in teacher trainings. Annie is a lifelong learner and forever curious.
